Every once in a while I get to meet a senior that I wish I had known when I was in high school. Riley McDaniel is one of those girls that you just know is going places in the world while holding onto all the right values. During her senior photography session, I wanted to showcase the things that reflected who she was at this time in her life, a bibliophile and a photography enthusiast. It’s also important to capture the traditional senior portraits her mom Caryn will love looking back on years from now.

All of my graduating clients receive style tips for their senior picture session and Riley ROCKED the session guide. I’m pretty sure she followed all of the do’s and don’t to a T and it really shows through in the images. She looks polished, put together and absolutely gorgeous.  One of my biggest suggestions is that we begin with hair and makeup, which I was happy to arrange for Riley. Riley is already a gorgeous girl on her own, but this is a great way to add a finishing touch and enhance her natural beauty.

Following hair and makeup, we spent some time at their home in Cle Elum. One of the best parts about living in Washington is the amount of beauty we have right in our backyards! We also took Riley and Caryn to a nearby hiking trail that has a beautiful bridge.  By the end of her senior photography session we had created a gorgeous gallery of images for her mom to hang on their walls, showcasing who Riley is today.

She loves to read, longboard, spend time with her pups, and is close to her family!
