If you have a student at Cle Elum Roslyn High School, the odds are high that you’ve run into Susan and Darrin Weber at a sporting event, school activity, or fundraiser. Their dedication to their children is obvious to those who know them. I first came to know the Webers when I did their son Tyler’s senior photos in 2018 so I was thrilled when they chose me again as their senior photographer for their son Brad, a 2022 senior at CERHS. In high school, Brad lettered in football, basketball, and golf – which he is looking forward to coming the spring. Golf is in the blood of the Weber family; Brad, his dad, his uncle, and brothers enjoy golfing as a family. But as much as golf is in his blood, Brad’s greatest passion is football. He started playing football in Grid Kids (in 4th grade), and has played ever since.  In his junior year, he was EWAC First Team First Team defensive lineman, and second-team for Offense. Senior year, he was not only the team captain but also won the Honorable Mention offense, first-team DL.

On top of lettering in three sports, Brad is also gifted academically. He is in his second year of Running Start at Central Washington University. With nearly a 4.0 in both his high school and college classes. After high school, Brad wants to work in the dental field. He plans to start with a dental hygienist program before ultimately going on to dental school.

Susan says:

 “Brad has always excelled. He is willing to work for whatever he wants in life and we are so proud of the young man that he has become.”

In addition to being a scholar and athlete, Brad has worked at Roslyn Ridge pool, in construction, and on a ranch. To his parent’s surprise, Brad also has a knack for fixing things and enjoys working on cars and snowmobiles. In his spare time, this high school senior is also an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys being outdoors hunting, fishing and scouting with the men in his family. Being raised in this environment also lends to Brad being very family-oriented. He is especially close with his brothers, Tyler and Kyle.

Susan says, “Brad is a level-headed, calm, hard-working, positive, motivated, genuine person. He is centered and always true to himself and his values, and is encouraging to others. He is very loyal to his friends, who are a big part of his life, and has a great sense of humor.”

Susan and Darrin chose to invest in my most inclusive senior package which includes a 12×12 Heirloom album and three 16×16 framed prints. This was a lovely way to display the senior portraits in their home, and still retain an album of memories from the entire session.
