Happy Birthday, Logan! As Logan’s first birthday approached, Brittni and Joe Kelleher reached out to me in their search for a family photographer in Ellensburg. Last year, I had so much fun with their maternity and newborn sessions. So of course I could barely wait to capture Miss Logan’s FIRST birthday! We planned a special session to incorporate the perfect mix of lifestyle portraits and more traditional studio photos.

The session was even more fun than I expected! What better way to start the day than spending time with such a sweet baby girl and catching up with her proud parents on how the journey has been. From all that I heard, the year has flown by for their whole family; Logan Gray has brought delight and tranquility to the Kelleher home.

Those who know their story remember Brittni was diagnosed with leukemia during her first trimester of pregnancy. In the year since Logan’s arrival, Brittni has continued with treatment. And I am overjoyed to share that Brittni’s health has continued to improve!

Brittni says:

“Things are just great for us right now. We are enjoying life and enjoying each other. I continue to thank God daily for the miracles he has worked within and around our family. We still feel endless love and support for our family, friends, and coworkers. At the end of April we are hoping that I will get the news that I am cancer free!”

Both Brittini and Joe are back to doing the work they love, while their baby girl stays with family or “the best daycare lady in the world,” Joyice, who also watched Brittni when she was Logan’s age.

As a family photographer in Ellensburg, I love nothing more than watching families grow throughout the years. I am honored to document the Kelleher’s journey and look forward to capturing Logan at our next session!
