Meet Caleb Bogart, middle son to Rusty & Brandy Bogart, and in the upcoming Cle Elum Roslyn High School Class of 2023! Brandy inquired with me about taking Senior Pictures around Roslyn in the Fall of 2022 and we were able to squeeze Caleb into the schedule at the tailend of Senior Sessions Season. I’m so incredibly glad we were able to work together! And I’m already looking forward to Caleb’s younger brother’s senior photos in a couple of years!

Caleb is one serious athlete. At school, he plays on both varsity basketball and baseball teams, but his true love is baseball. He’s played club baseball since he was a 12U!

He’s a natural born leader. Caleb was chosen as the EWAC Player of the Year in 2021 and 2022 and chosen as team captain of his first team all league in 2022. Naturally, we had to include a portion of Caleb’s session on the baseball field to commemorate such a huge part of his youth.

When it’s not baseball season, Caleb is on the basketball court. He has played with the Cle Elum Fire team since elementary school where his dad, Rusty, is the assistant coach. He’s described as having a competitive nature, plays a great defense, and consistently leads the team in steals.

During our time together, Rusty & Brandy gave a heartfelt shoutout to “The Mikes”. Mike Bean with the Ellensburg Blue’s Club team, and Mike Halverson, the high school baseball coach. “The Mikes” taught Caleb to strive for more than he thinks he’s capable of, and to pursue excellence, on & off the field. As a parent, I know firsthand how important it is for our kids to grow up with a village. I know Rusty & Brandy are beyond appreciative of the influence “The Mikes” have had on their son.

Off the field & court, Caleb loves getting outdoors as often as possible. Activities like hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking are how he prefers to reset and spend quality time with family & friends. He’s described as kind-hearted, self motivated, and a hard worker by his loved ones. I think his achievements prove it!

After graduation, Caleb has endless possibilities awaiting him and he’s currently taking his time to weigh his options. Regardless of what he chooses to do, he’ll be successful at it with having such a great foundation laid already. He’s a great guy, with a good head on his shoulders!
