As a Suncadia photographer, I am fortunate to be able to capture extra special moments for my clients. As their 15th wedding anniversary approached, Rocky and Tracey Rockymore wanted to do something memorable to commemorate the event.

“Last time we had portraits was 10 years ago as a family, the last portraits of us as a couple was 2006. I knew it was time to update our photos!” During our zoom, Tracey took me to that family photo from 10 years ago. It was the entire family in white shirts and jeans. A sure sign that it is time to update your portraits! And what better occasion than their anniversary? But this trip was so much more than a regular portrait experience.

An extra special celebration

The couple currently resides in Nokomis, Florida but for their anniversary celebration they planned a big trip through Texas, Oregon and Washington. During their time here, they chartered a helicopter to fly over the mountains for dinner at Swiftwater Cellars, followed by a photo session in Suncadia. As part of their luxury experience, I coordinated with Swiftwater Cellars to ensure that we had time to get to some of the most beautiful parts of the resort.

Rocky and Tracey are some of the sweetest, most down to earth couples I’ve had the pleasure of photographing. Working with people who truly appreciate the experience, is what makes me love what I do. Our session together turned out absolutely incredible and the couple ordered an heirloom album and two wall pieces. An heirloom album is a way to “get all the photos” while still having a tangible piece of the experience. While wall portraits serve as a daily visual reminder of their incredible anniversary celebration.
