For anyone, graduating high school is a year of incredible excitement and perhaps a bit of uncertainty. Unless that is, you were a senior graduating during the class of 2020. Faced with the uncertainties of Covid and the loss of many iconic milestones leading up to graduation, it was a difficult year for high school seniors across the country.

Dani Santa was one such senior. But today, she is a resilient spirit graduating from Central Washington University’s construction management program in Spring 2024. If you remember, we had the pleasure of capturing the essence of her younger brother, Bobby, during his senior year at Cle Elum Roslyn High School.

From Cle Elum to Central Washington University

Dani’s journey led her to pursue a degree in construction management, inspired by the family business, Santa Incorporated. Graduating in the Spring of 2024, she’s ready to step into the construction industry with a clear vision and determination. Dani is set to embark on a career as a project engineer with Granite Construction in Yakima. Her role involves ensuring compliance with regulations, financial tracking, and maintaining a holistic view of every project.

Dani’s ambitions extend beyond her immediate career path. In an industry often dominated by men, she aspires to climb the ranks and become a beacon for other women. Her determination and pride in excelling in traditionally male-dominated spaces make her a trailblazer and an inspiration.

For Dani’s senior photos, we explored the area around our Roslyn studio, within walking distance, and ventured to the Santa property to add a personal touch. The photos not only capture Dani’s academic achievement but also the essence of her strength, courage, and bold spirit.

Michelle, Dani’s mom, took the opportunity to update the family photos, adding a beautiful chapter to their visual narrative. Speaking of Dani, Michelle shares, “Dani is bold, strong, and very courageous. There isn’t anything she can’t do when she sets her mind to it. Travis and I couldn’t be more proud of Dani and are excited for the incredible future God has for her.”
