Wedding days are more than a single event. They’re a reflection of a team the bride and groom unknowingly create as they hire vendors to help bring their vision to life. Having a network of professionals who work well together is an important factor when planning a wedding.

Which is how a Secret Garden Wedding in Historic Roslyn came to be. A group of artists and entrepreneurs from eight separate businesses came together to plan and execute a dream wedding in historic Roslyn, Washington.  It all started with a simple conversation and grew from there. Our goal was to work together creatively and learn more about collaborating with one another.  We wanted to tell the story of this dream wedding and showcase the skills and services of those involved.

Wedding designer Sarah St. Laurent’s vision provided the foundation for the shoot and it turned out impeccably thanks to the talent and dedication from each vendor.

Nestled in the heart of historic downtown Roslyn, Washington, StoneHouse101 is the perfect intimate setting for any style event, including weddings. The charming building was built in the late 1800’s by Italian tradesmen and coalminers, and was originally the Piedmonte Saloon. Over 100 years later, the building has since been remodeled and renovated to house modern amenities with indoor and outdoor settings.

StoneHouse101 features a beautiful, welcoming reception area with a mobile bar and a great room that fully opens to a private lighted yard surrounded by lush garden areas. Brides fall in love with wood farm tables, wine barrel cocktail tables, and the seasonal fire pit or fountain.

Sarah and her husband recently relocated to Cle Elum.  The idea of starting a wedding planning business began 24 hours after Sarah St. Laurent experienced her own fairytale wedding. There was something about the way the day felt magical that made Sarah want to turn it into a career. Her designs are classic and timeless, with a little bit of whimsy.
